Testimonials about our tree surgery service
As well as the testimonials below, there are more reviews of our work in London since 2012 on our Google business page, available by clicking here.
“Luke and his team did a fabulous job with our very over-crowded garden. The fruit trees were very overgrown and out of control and one was even dying. Luke was extremely good at listening to what we wanted and his approach of ‘sensitive reduction’ worked brilliantly: our garden looks much bigger, the trees are super healthy and our house is much lighter. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Great job Luke!” Emma Lawson, London.
“Great pile of firewood Luke – thank you. The trees look very neat, and wonderful to have that big dark laurel gone.” Ros, London.
“London House Hunters is a long established, high end property management company. Luke’s tree work was recommended recently by a friend. Since then he has removed a eucalyptus branch that was overhanging a conservatory, ground out several old stumps, removed a messily overgrown elder that completely shaded a garden and stripped the ivy from four floors of an exterior wall. LG trees is a professional team that provides excellent value for money.” Fergus Gilroy, Property Management & House Hunters, London House Hunters.
“Levitt Bernstein contracted LG trees in 2013 to work on the high profile Acer trees in our headquarters’ front courtyard: this involved climbing each tree to lift and clean out the crowns and reduce them away from the buildings, together with removing one dead Acer. The work was carried out very efficiently, with no disruption to the running of our office and the courtyard left spotless. Luke provides excellent value for money.” Gary Tidmarsh, Owner, Levitt Bernstein, London.
“We have been pleased to use LG trees at Bodorgan because they deliver a high quality & cost effective service for our woodland management. We have used their services since 2010 and continue to do so. We are happy to recommend them.” Tim Bowie, Estate Manager, Bodorgan Estate.
“I’ve known Luke for years but have only recently had the opportunity to engage him for tree work following his recent move back to London. I was on site while the work was carried out: dismantling a dangerously damaged forty foot Sycamore over roofs and gardens. Luke and his team were at all times courteous and professional, and the work was done to budget and the site left clean and tidy. I have already booked LG trees for another job and recommend them highly.” Risto Gojkovic, Director, Thames Oak Ltd, London.
“LG trees have been tree surgeons of choice at our farm in North Wales since 2011. Time and again they complete the job skilfully, safely and to budget. The first job they did for me was to dismantle a large and brittle dead ash that had much of its remaining crown over a road and BT phone lines. This was done in one day, safely and to budget. Since then they have worked on several large trees with complex safety requirements. I highly recommend the professional skills and approach shown by Luke and his team.” Antoinette Mackeson-Sandbach, Member of the Welsh Assembley.
“Gwydir Castle is regarded as one of the finest Tudor houses. Its important gardens extend to ten acres and are listed Grade One. Luke and his team have worked to restore some of the yew trees (of which there are fourteen planted before 1700). In addition, they have section-felled some large, out-of-place cypresses and reduced overgrown laurels. Their work has greatly helped in the restoration of the gardens. We recommend LG trees very highly.” Peter Welford, Gwydir Castle.
“We have a large ornamental garden on the edge of the National Trust’s Bodnant Garden that contains among other species oak, ash, beech, pine and magnolia trees, many of which are more than 100 years old and over 100 feet tall. The lower canopy of the garden is largely composed of rare Rhododendrons which were planted in the early 1900s. The trees require regular maintenance which must be carried out with great care both for the health of the trees and to avoid damaging the Rhododendrons below. LG trees has carried out this work since Luke qualified in 2007. Their work is exemplary.” Hugh and Harriet, north Wales.
